Plants Talk: The Magic of the Mist

Insider

It’s been a few days since we transplanted our little plants into their new homes. The extra space for them is important because we want our plants to be as strong and healthy as possible! Because of our technology, plants have a much more efficient way of receiving the essential nutrients they need to continue to grow. Today, we’re talking about the system we use to deliver them. It’s all in the magic of mist.

Hi, I’m Michelle Keller, Head Grower at Living Greens Farm. We’re so glad that you’re joining us as we show you how we grow the greatest greens on the planet!

You may have seen our last video where we showed you the Living Greens Farm A Frame grow racks. This technology allows indoor farmers to produce the same amount of food in 10,000sq ft. As 200 acres of land would produce. That means we’re using 1% of the land required to produce the same amount of food that’s also grown safely indoors without the use of pesticides and herbicides.

When it comes to natural resources, water is a big concern for many areas of the world. That’s why we’ve spent the last 10 years developing a system that gives the plants exactly what they need. We don’t waste anything. A big part of our system is our patented trolly system that sprays a nutrient rich mist directly to the plant roots.

Less Water, The Same Great Taste

With our system, we use 95% less water than outdoor farming methods. That’s great news for areas of the world affected by drought. Even here in the United States in places like California, or Arizona.

We are changing the way farming is done because we need to be more responsible with our resources. Plants, like humans, need a specific amount of water and nutrients to help them grow into full healthy adults. We have perfected the recipe and only at Living Greens Farm will you see plants this green, this tasty, and this healthy for you and your family.

We hope you’ll continue to follow along as we show you more steps in our growing process. Subscribe to our blog and follow us on social media for more updates.
