In-Store Product Promoter

Hours: 10-12 per week - mainly weekends

As an in-store product promoter for Living Greens Farm you will be communicating directly with customers in a marketing and public relations capacity. Your role is to highlight the benefits, value, and product differentiation of our Living Greens Farm salad to make them desirable to potential customers and boost sales at retail stores.

Primary areas of responsibility for the In-Store Product Promoter includes:

  • Customer interaction and brand promotion.

  • Product preparation and promotional table set-up and take-down.

  • Expert knowledge and understanding of the brand and be able to clearly communicate the brand’s values and products.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Engaging and outgoing personality with strong verbal skills.

  • Prior experience in retail sales or customer service.

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, lift and move products, and use products as appropriate for the demonstration.

  • Comfortable working alone without supervision.

Hours: 24-30 per week - mainly weekdays | Entry Level Position

As a merchandiser for Living Greens Farm you will be working directly with our sales team and retail partners to help promote store sales, and successful product introduction by providing point-of-purchase support, product expertise, and shelf management services.

Retail Merchandiser Job Duties:

  • Establish a weekly store check schedule by reviewing priorities with the sales team; discuss special instructions, product promotions, new products, and price changes.

  • Maintains customer relationships by visiting with store managers, produce department managers, and produce employees; answering their questions; responding to special requests; describing product features.

  • Maintains store shelves by observing displays of Living Greens Farm products; removing damaged, close-dated, or out-dated products; tidying store shelves; providing optimum placement and display of products.

  • Maintains inventory by restocking shelves with product from store inventory; observing inventory levels; prompting store management to reorder when levels appear low; arranging for return and credit for damaged products.

  • Completes store check report by observing display and pricing of competitors' products.

  • Helps sales team with special promotions by setting-up displays or new point of purchase signage; checking on available special promotions; observing customer reaction to special promotions; forwarding observations to the sales team; removing promotions at end of special promotion period.

  • Provides general feedback on assigned stores.

  • Maintains quality results by following and enforcing Living Greens Farm standards.

  • Enhances merchandising and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
